Gamification is seen as a growing trend in People Management and Engagement.

While gamification originally became popular as a marketing strategy to attract consumers, some organisations have proven that it can be adopted to make HR more attractive, effective and fun.

Progressive companies have been using gamified programs for learning & development, customer support, sales improvement, employee engagement, and overall corporate culture building. A leaderboard or a point rewards system for quick wins can prove to be very successful in engaging people and motivating them to change behaviours, develop skills, or solve problems.
